Being the type who excel in linguistic and the vocal prowess they have the ability to pour out everything that cross their minds- sometime without thinking. But anyway being the wiser counterpart at the time of argument, men should be able to understand that hormonal imbalance may cause this. By keeping your lips sealed you are not actually waving the white flag but being a good listener. Some judgmental views maybe thrown out at you but be cool because you know you are in control and please.... never start becoming the aggressor.
After a while things start to cool down and you may want to start the conversation without mentioning the issue that became the subject of argument or tackle the issue in a positive light.

Ladies nag sometime over silly things but i think it shows how sensitive they are towards something important we, men always overlook and brush aside due to our ignorance and also how articulate they are in conveying their message to us. That confirms that they are perfect women!

Anyway if you guys keep being the subject of nagging it may show the level of respect towards you are declining greatly and it is time to start looking for someone else or if you still think that she is worth keeping, become a philosopher like Socrates or sail around the world like Colombus.kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-72578094881806717472009-08-30T08:23:00.000-07:002009-08-30T08:25:48.180-07:00Lawak

kah kah kahkaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-36562282817038578712009-08-30T08:01:00.000-07:002009-08-30T08:08:22.085-07:00Nangis

If you dont cry then you are not a human being
Kalau anda tak nangis anda bukanlah manusiakaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-16263092989269605542009-08-30T07:42:00.000-07:002009-08-30T08:00:01.595-07:00The sinsThe sins. They are synonymous with the existence of human being because we are created with so much weaknesses in order to be perfect. In a cycle of 24 hours there will be the time we will forget and thus we err. We make sins deliberately or unwittingly.

There is no greater amount of merit could we offer for our salvation. Bob Sinclar- Love Generation

Once in a hotel at the heart of Barcelona, I switched on the TV and the music video was playing.
It quickly become the theme song of our trip across catalonia. The song has its own sense of adventure and exudes richness of Catalonian culture. Buenos Diaz!

2. The Arcade fire- Neighborhood #2 Laika

This song is the most emotional of all. No, i dont mean a tragic relationship breakup. The intense drum beating, the banshee-howling of the vocalists, the melancholy violin background, the dog bells and the ironically stimulating lyrics- roll up into one wicked tune.

"our older brother! - bit by a vampire! - for a year we caught his
tears in a cup! - and now we're gonna make you drink it! come on alex!
don't die or dry up!"

I have lost count how many times I CRIED ( due to inspirational lyrics and music) listening to this song. If I become the prime minister of one country I will quickly propose this one to become national anthem.

3. The Coral- In The Morning

I used to listen to this song everytime I start my day back in my fresher days in Liverpool.
It quickly reminds me to the smell of the student flat ( maybe a detergent used by the cleaner- who knows!). A group of talented scousers created this song and it become a legend in its own league.

4. Mr. Big- Superfantastic

A gloomy day. It was about to rain outside. I was lying on the bed in my 3-shared room in my A-Level days. The weather was not necessarily to suggest my mood but I had radio that keep playing this song- which quickly caught up in my mind.

5. Coldplay-In My Place, Fat Joe feat Ashanti- Whats Luv, Puddle Of Mudd- Blurry

Hitz fm used to air these songs every now and then when I was in high school. It was a really good 'ol time when everything was so naive hihi.

6. Therefore when you try to swim against the current people will view you as an idiot- but what they don't see at the end of the river will be the plunge going down to the raging water that will inevitably bring death to anyone.
Capitalist system makes us stop thinking what is best for us. The mass control is what the father of public relation Edward Bernays did to make us consume almost every propaganda that they want us to believe.
Sure enough freedom of choice and expression has become the cliche of the modern world. However what we are keen to voice is also the result of what this capitalists has formed in our mind at the first place. Take one example regarding what Ed Bernays did to manipulate and trigger the first so-called freedom of choice in the society.
In order to penetrate the women market for cigarette in 1920s Bernays masterminded a movement for women 'rights'. Women were given perception they too can be like their men counterpart. A distinguishing feature belonged to men were challenged by this so called rights group. Women for the first time smoke in public and this has helped cigarette company to boost their sale.
This would be one of many other examples we could find if we are eager to seek for the truth and mind you this fine example was accomplished more than 80 years ago. Within 80 years time frame a lot of deceits and damages would have been accomplished.
So the question now is what would be the basis of thought for an absolute freedom of choice and expression- free from the influence of materialism, capitalism and any other corrupt practices in the world?
Turn off the TV and the radio. Stop buying entertainment/infotainment magazines of any sorts. Reflect on the world, the current banking system, the politics and the most important element- The purpose of our existence in the world.
And then think. The process will not be short. It will take years and perhaps a lifetime to know ourselves. Don't simply believe of what the mainstream media told us. Most of the time the reverse might be correct.
At the end of the day, no matter whether we are a muslim, Christian, Jew, Buddhist or atheist will find the truest source of life and ready to answer the very question ourselves- Am I part of the bluff? And we are capable enough to answer the question, make our choice and ready to swim against the torrent.kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-84397496701630907172009-04-25T08:48:00.000-07:002009-04-25T08:51:29.195-07:00sunday morningyou wake up early in the morning, open the fridge and grab a bottle of milk for a quick gargle and let it goes down through your throat.

A perfect Sunday morning......kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-55362666986158819842009-03-28T12:25:00.000-07:002009-03-29T10:02:07.007-07:00video lama III

Mama was calling a cab for my departure to Cairo airport that evening and Anne was busy surfing.
Just after that she tried the galabiyya that we bought yesterday at Khan El Khalily. She bought specially for my mom. I have told her that her size will fit my mom so she tried it to check whether the size is ok. Just in case it doesnt fit we may change for another suitable size.

This will be the last video in egypt. That evening before my departure we went to a farewell party organized by Katja and Yvonne because they will move from Cairo.
Everything went perfect. Mama was happy introducing her son to the hostesses (as she was cheerily pointing me as 'part german, part chinese'). It was nice to be immersed in a total german atmosphere where everybody speaks German- though I could not join them in their native language I really enjoy listening to them. My german was not good so I have to speak english with Katja and the other guests. Sometime mama will translate everything for me.
Katja was a very determined lady and she had been in Liverpool for Erasmus program.
I also spoke to 2 lads where they spoke about their adventures going back to Germany from Cairo just by using land route!!
Katja owned a guitar and mama just happened to notice it and asked me to play along. It was an impromptu performance. I delivered 2 of my staples Beatles songs - I Will and Blackbird. I was lucky because i remembered all the lyrics and no noticeable f.ed up. Pheww..
It was a really great evening and great pasta they had. The only downside was the battery of my camera :(
We had to leave before the party was over because I need to catch my flight.kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-6308402607316551892009-03-22T05:48:00.000-07:002009-03-22T06:25:35.271-07:00I just dont know why....
I dont know why everyone keep smiling at me today. Prior to post this I tried to sink deep into Apassionata and Die Sonate Vom Guten Menschen (and tried harder to cry- in which i failed to do so). I did some research on the director/writer and the casts so that I could have some idea on what to write- yet the more i made my research, the more points arose to kick me out as 'critic' for this grandeur piece of work.
This film certainly do not deserve a review from an amateur like me. So I will just write the backbone idea of this film where everything is spawned.

Maxim Gorky's anecdote about Lenin listening to Beethoven's Apassionata. Gorky wrote:

I know of nothing better than the Appassionata and could listen to it every day. What astonishing, superhuman music! It always makes me proud, perhaps naively so, to think that people can work such miracles!" Wrinkling up his eyes, Lenin smiled rather sadly, adding: "But I can't listen to music very often. It affects my nerves. I want to say sweet, silly things and pat the heads of people who, living in a filthy hell, can create such beauty. One can't pat anyone on the head nowadays, they might bite your hand off. They ought to be beaten on the head, beaten mercilessly, although ideally we are against doing any violence to people. It seems impossible to get a hold on something which is not officially released but I don't expect for the whole track. Just to get the hint of what it is. Still there is no hint or whatever of Carnival of Light in youtube. Not wanting to close the window I clicked aimlessly on the videos. It landed me to a clip of cartoon.
I read through the description
"In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace. 38 years later, Jerry has produced a film about it. Using the original interview recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual narrative which tenderly romances Lennon's every word in a cascading flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell-binding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit, and timeless message."

Though not a fan of Lennon for his utopian political ambition and what he was the animation looks distinctive and unique in its own way. Lennon in his mild Scouse accent spoke about what length the people could do collectively to achieve peace, the rest of the Beatles (amazingly he missed his closest friend Paul instead talked about George) and the message in his music.
A visionary message to say the least, very creatively narrated and this legendary interview was done by a determined 14 years old!!

kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-31042039020083262008-11-21T08:32:00.000-08:002013-07-18T14:44:09.859-07:00Do we have any lifeline?

"NASA scientists have discovered enormous underground reservoirs of frozen water on Mars, away from its polar caps, in the latest sign that life might be sustainable on the Red planet."

whoaa, this is real opportunity. Let's setup a Mars real estate company.Soon the earth will face the devastation due to green house effect, wars between our own kinds and what nots. The land in Mars will appreciate exponentially in only a year time if Mars is sustainable for the Earthlings.

Our own natural reserves will dwindle. The air in 50 years time from now may greatly lack in quality compared to what we have now. Water? We will have water with a little percent of toxic waste in the future (Don't worry we will have our own place to chatter and drink coffee in our own mutant league lounge.)

And the best reason to bid goodbye to planet earth is the global warming and green house effect.

Lets have a methane shower in Mars. Bring all of our own livestock (quasi- Noah and the ark) and become the first Adams and Eves of Mars.

If only that is going to happen.
It may not mean you're "lucky",it may just mean you're dealing with a psycho. Watch out for her either dominating your life completely or falling out of love with you just as fast as the saying goes "Easy come easy go"

2) She treats her family badly...

If she doesnt mind screaming at her mama and call her an old bag then you can expect more screaming and name-calling at you.

3) She likes to blame the world.

Enough dealing with a wet blanket. If a woman blames the world for everything
that happens to her instead of taking responsibility for her actions, you can be sure there'll be lots of drama in your life if you start dating her. Cut the connection before you even start and avoid the "pessimism" flu

4) She's on drugs.

Drugs are bad and will mess up a woman's mind and body, period. Don't get mixed up with the intention of being a lover to help out a junkie. It may cost your wonderful life. Let rehab do their job and you stay away from smackhead.

5) She's an alcoholic.

It's okay to date an ex-alcoholic who's been clean for a few years, but it is NOT okay to date a woman (or man) who is still an alcoholic.

6) She hangs out with the wrong crowd.

You can judge a person's character by looking at theirchoice of friends. So if your new girlfriend hangs around with the wrong crowd, watch out.

7) She plays mind games from the start.

If you can "sense" a woman is playing mind games with you, chances are, she is.
Stay away...or there'll be a lot of drama and hurt feelings...potentially on BOTH
sides!

8) Her income and living space do not justify the lifestyle she has.

A little surprised that she can afford all the nice clothes and makeup when she lives
in a hole or works at a coffee shop? It's a sign that she's a gold digger and has at least one
other man out there who is supporting her.

Always be cautious about women who lifestyles do not match with their income or
home. Even if she is NOT a gold digger, you don't want a woman who maxes out your credit
on handbags and fancy gowns when youget married. (Yes - there are many people
out there who live on credit. NOT good!)

9) Her stories don't match up.

Do her stories seem to not match up? Watch out? She could be a chronic liar.

10) Your friends tell you there are things wrong with the woman.

Friends are usually less-biased than you are since they are not in love with your
girl. If everybody starts telling you how they think your new girlfriend is a slut or a
manipulative bitch, it's time to take a step back and see why they feel that way.

kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-11944724025978650682008-11-02T01:14:00.000-07:002008-11-02T01:48:36.127-08:00culture preservation vs animal wefare
A gory scene like this could only be seen in Faroe Island. 950 or so long finned Pilot whales will be killed annually here, mainly during summer as part of their grindadráp festival (Pilot whale slaughter).

In this small island, maybe they have had enough of kinky bubble party so they seek for adrenaline-pumping fun activities like this.

Most Faroese consider the hunt an important part of their culture and history but animal rights group as usual hit back by claiming that the hunt is unnecessary and cruel.

Well, I don't bother as long there is ongoing project by the authorities to ensure that the population of the species will not be threatened in near future. Just like water and oil, spenders and savers seems in nature do not meant for each other.

But love is also blind. So the question is if both spender and saver meet and fall in love to each other and willing to take the path down the aisle will their marriage last forever?

So the answer- according to Reader's Digest is YES (hooray!!)

According to experts though disagreements over money are leading cause of divorce it does not mean that it will be the end of their marriage. However expect lots of work because you are married to someone who has opposite philosophy towards money than you.

Always talk in terms of "ours" instead of "mine" or "yours" and work to your strength.
The saver should draft the budget and the spender gets to be in charge of holidays and celebrations.

Anyway, just wondering in this testing time of economic turmoil will there be any spenders left?kaninchen_of_merseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08137210854003695480noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2557161882621656087.post-78218502635377274492008-10-13T22:18:00.001-07:002008-10-13T23:05:34.642-07:00Who is the most obscenely and grossly overpaid Gorilla in the world?<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px;
